Just a quick update because I haven't posted in a while.
My dad got a really good quote on repairing my camera, so in a few weeks I should have it back with a fully operational screen again. (Not that the screen matters so much to me, but my parents were pretty pissed.)
I dyed my hair brown. I like it a lot, but now it seems like it gets dirty almost twice as fast as my blonde hair did (and that means I'll have to wash it like twice a day). I really banged up my foot trying to ride a bike at my friend's house (we didn't have any other shoes than sandals, and look how I pay for it). So, I've just been laying around my house with a crippled foot and dirty hair.
I was over at Amy's house for her birthday, and I found a really, really nice Minolta in her closet, with over five lenses and some filters. She acted very nonchalant about it all, but I was in a film craze. She's excited that I can show her how to use it the right way, and we plan to shoot together sometime this summer. I suppose I'll have to break out my <s>new</s> second Pentax K1000. That Minolta needs a new battery, though. The one that was in it kept the shutter working but didn't have enough juice in it to turn on the light meter. It's gooood to have a K1000, where the shutter works all the time, battery or not.

Since it's too hot outside to manage, and rainy and allergy-ish, I've been obsessively baking. Or, trying to bake, anyway. I want to get some fondat and try using that, though I hear it's difficult. I need to work on my frosting skills, first.
I almost forgot to mention that I got the results of my EGD back yesterday. I was almost positive I had EE, but apparently I don't. My pH levels were mostly normal during the capsule study, but my doctor found some erosion and irritation in the biopsies. He put me back on Prevacid, which I took for about a year a while back. He says it probably didn't work then because I would (occassionally) skip a day. Maybe this time it will help. Last year I got horrible reflux at every single football game, and couldn't enjoy it. It was quite hard to twirl, also. I don't want a repeat of it.
Yay, it's almost July!
