My grandpa died March 26th. It was pretty sudden since we assumed he would be in a rehab hospital for a long time, but earlier in the day they told us his kidneys were failing and it wouldn't be very long. I was planning on going to see him the next day, but he died about an hour and a half after my mom told me. The past two weeks have been really hard on that front, but we're all just glad he didn't have to suffer for a long time.
I got my SAT scores back yesterday, and I'm happy to say I scored higher than I thought I would: 1300. My math score was pretty atrocious (600) so if I just get that score up to a 700 I'll have a 1400! It's too bad most colleges don't count the writing portion, because I aced that part with a 730. I only missed 8 points on the multiple choice secion of it, and I got a 9 on my essay. I'll have more information on all of these scores next week, but I'm hopeful that I can bump my score up at least a hundred points next time.
In photography news, my guidance counselor signed me up for Photography II next year, so I'll probably still be active here on dA since I'll be required to keep up with my photography.
Happy Spring!
